●Kishu Negoro temple Kakuban Festival

This is named on the founder of this temple, Kakuban Sho-nin.
When autumn foliage getting flourished, in the Negoro Temple, this festival is held.
In this festival, famous Negoro -Noh-Play is held , sometimes by the torch.
And more other attractions (held at end of November).

●Ohmiya Matsuri(Yomisashi Matsuri)Festival

On the first Saturday of every October, in the midnight, Shintoh priest of this shrineand male parishioners wore in white clothes(sacred), run to the borders around Iwade City.
They part two groups , one group run to the “Otabi-sho”(rest –place on travelling for god)at the West border , Shimo-Isaka.
The other run to the East otabi-sho, Ipponmatsu at Yoshida and they stand the Sakaki- twigs(about 2 meter length).
Sakaki tree is believed as to purify and cure the disease or wound.
This is a very rare festival in Japan, Shintoh Ritual, held in the midnight Mysterious, unique and sacred festival.
